Pennies for Patients
For the second year Richgrove School registered to support The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Student Series’ Pennies for Patients. The school, and its students, collected money to help find cures for blood cancer patients, while learning about service, leadership and philanthropy.
Last year the students collected over $800, and this year we set a goal of $1000. With the hard work and generosity of the students Richgrove School raised over $1200 to help find cures for cancer. This is a great testament to the kindness, and caring of the students and community.
We are proud of all the efforts by students, parents and staff. Great job Richgrove! Next year our goal will be $1500! We will always fight cancer!
