Over 25 years ago this amazing, hardworking and dedicated woman came onto our campus and has since been the foundation of our school.  As this year comes to an end we would like to say thank you for all you have done to keep Richgrove School running each day.  We will miss you but we know you will live retirement to it's fullest and you deserve it.

Here is Irma Rivera's retirement words to us...

It’s been said that if you find something you love to do, you will never work a day in your life.  Well, I was one of the lucky ones who found it, Richgrove School!!

I arrived here in May 1995. Initially I thought it would just be a stepping stone to a bigger more prominent school district, but I fell in love with Richgrove!  It sounds corny, but Richgrove School really is a wonderful place to be; a family. Our staff and admin, parents and students are all Awesome.  We really do care about every single student and make a great effort to reach their hearts.  We know most every child by name. Not only that, but sometimes we even know mom’s and grandma’s names, too! 😊 Our parents are appreciative and grateful and they spoil us on Day of the Teacher with great Mexican food and homemade tortillas! 😊 Our Board and Administration is the best; always making sure our students have the best of everything, curriculum, technology, special services and even homemade pozole! All this gives our students the best opportunity to be successful in life.

Thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of your life for the last 26 years. I really hit the jackpot when I arrived at Richgrove and it will always hold a very special place in my heart! 😊
