¡La escuela comienza este lunes 9 de agosto a las 8:05! Esperamos volver a verlos a todos y nos gustaría aprovechar este momento para brindarles información importante. Todos los lunes (incluido este lunes) es un día de salida anticipada. El jardín de infantes terminará a la 1:00 p.m. Los grados 1 al 6 saldrán a las 2:00 p.m. Los grados 7 al 8 saldrán a las 2:30 PM. La entrada de la mañana comienza a las 7:30. El desayuno se servirá en los salones de clases para los grados TK-6 después de que suene la campana. Los estudiantes de secundaria recogerán el desayuno en el gimnasio cuando entren al campus. La primera campana suena a las 8:00. Por favor, no permita que los estudiantes lleguen al campus demasiado temprano. El padre (uno) del kindergarten podrá acompañar a su hijo a la clase durante los primeros días de clases, pero tendrá que ser examinado en la puerta. School begins this Monday August 9th at 8:05! We look forward to seeing everyone again and would like to take this time to get you some important information. Every Monday (including this Monday) is an early dismissal day. Kindergarten will be dismissed at 1:00PM 1st-6th grade will be dismissed at 2:00PM 7th-8th grade will be dismissed at 2:30 PM. Morning entrance begins at 7:30. Breakfast will be served in the classrooms for TK-6th grade after the bell. Junior high students will pick up breakfast in the gym when they enter campus. The first bell rings at 8:00. Please so not allow students to arrive to campus too early. Parent (one) of Kindergartener will be allowed to walk their child to class for the first few days of school, but will have to be health screened at the gate. Richgrove Families, Here are a couple of announcements for next week: -School begins Monday August 9th at 8:00 AM. -K-6th grade students will have breakfast in their classrooms. -Students will rotate through lunch to have less students eating together at one time. -One class will rotate so that one class eats outside under the shade structures. -Students must wear masks indoors. Masks outdoors are optional (for now.) -IF YOUR CHILD NEEDS A BACKPACK WE WILL SUPPLY THEM WITH ONE THAT FITS THEIR LAPTOP. -Students will have a regular recess. -If you have a WiFi antenna on your home that we supplied please make sure it is plugged in. If you would like to volunteer to have one put at your home please contact the school at extension 101. -PLEASE DO A HEALTH SCREENING OF YOUR CHILD EVERY MORNING. PRESCHOOL AND ELEMENTARY SCHOOL REGISTRATION If you have not already registered your child for school please do so as soon as you can. There are many spots still available in our preschool and in our elementary school. If you have a child coming in or you know someone that has a child coming in please take care of that as soon as possible. Pass the word along! Richgrove Families, New guidelines for Independent Studies for the 2021-22 School Year have been released and here is how RSD will handle anyone looking into this option for your student. At tonight's school board meeting it was decided that Richgrove School will NOT have a mandatory school uniform policy this year. For the 2021-22 school year school uniforms WILL NOT be required. Students may still wear any uniform clothing that they may have but it will NOT be mandatory. Students will have to follow the normal school dress code found in the student handbook. With the uncertainty of COVID and school being open along with the results from the parent survey where 72% of parents chose to not have uniforms, the school board felt it was time to remove the uniform requirement. It will go back to the board for discussion for the 2022-23 school year. En la reunión de la junta escolar de esta noche se decidió que la escuela Richgrove NO tendrá una política de uniforme escolar obligatoria este año, 2021-22. Richgrove School District would like to wish Celia Murguia, Frank Casas, Julie Martin and Lori Delgado a happy, prosperous and relaxing retirement! For decades these members of the RSD Family have roamed the halls of our campus doing their best to help the students of Richgrove. They have played a positive role in our children and helped them to maneuver their years here on our campus. They have taught them, fed them, monitored their attendance, contacted families and taught music. At RSD we raise the entire child and these four amazing individuals touched every facet of a "whole child education." We will miss them, and wish them the best in their next step of life. Thank you for help Richgrove School generate fantastic kids!

RSD will begin to allow for Sports Practices beginning Monday June 7th. All COVID protocols must still be followed while at practice. All participants will be temperature screened, masks must be work when not in a conditioning activity, social distancing must be maintained, a COVID waiver must be completed and all student-athletes must have their own water.
