Due to excessive heat tomorrow the graduation will begin at 8:00 PM. The gates will open at 7:30 for COVID screening. Parents can enter at front of campus or at solar parking lot only. Richgrove School is currently experiencing a power outage on a portion of the campus. This is affecting our ability to push WiFi to our students in the community. Student laptops and chargers must be turned in next week beginning Tuesday June 1st. Distance Learning students can turn in on Wednesday June 2nd or Thursday June 3rd after 1 PM. Tulare County will be offering the Johnson and Johnson vaccine for COVID-19 tomorrow, May 15th from 3:00PM to 6:00PM at the Richgrove Memorial Building. Walk-Ins will be welcome. Good afternoon Richgrove Parents. There was some confusion today on the lunch period time in the junior high. With all the chaos of COVID and reopening school some schedules were mixed up. Junior high students have a lunch break from 12:00 to 12:40 on Wednesday while in Distance Learning as it has been all year. We apologize for the mix up the wrong schedule went out. RSD has started to move further along in the world of technology and instruction. This is E-Glass! A teaching board that allows teachers to stand behind the board, face their class and project information both to In-Person and On-line students simultaneously! This is our pilot.

When Tulare County reaches the "Yellow Tier" on the COVID CA Map we will be allowing for students to return to campus, under safety guidelines, for athletic training and music after school upon completion of a COVID Waiver Form by parent. https://covid19.ca.gov/safer-economy/

As of next Monday May 3rd RSD will be adding a 4th hour to our school day for all students. Class will now be from 8:05 AM to 12:05 PM with Wednesday still being Distance Learning for all students. Students will receive a breakfast bag on campus. Please adjust pick up times.

We have updated some menu items on our website, www.richgrove.org , and on our phone app. You can now click on our social media buttons at the bottom of the page (website) or scroll down the menu (phone app) to go directly to our Facebook, Instagram and Twitter pages!

The new TK/Kindergarten room is now complete! Furniture will be going in soon and will be ready for the 2021-22 school year. This completes our 12 classroom build and leaves Richgrove students in great facilities for generations to come.

RSD will be sending home water bottles for our students. If your children are in Distance Learning you can work out with the teacher to have one picked up. Please fill them at home or first thing here on campus. We want to make sure our students and staff stay hydrated!

In this academically difficult time, several students have come out of the last grading period with a 4.0 GPA! Those students will be receiving this yard sign to celebrate their success. Congratulations to them and all our students that are working so hard!

Meals will be given when leaving campus. *FIFTH GRADE will begin on MONDAY APRIL 12TH and will enter at the LIBRARY GATE. *SIXTH GRADE will begin on THURSDAY APRIL 15TH and will enter at the LIBRARY GATE. Today nearly 300 food industry, agriculture worker and other eligible members of the Richgrove Community received their 1st vaccination against COVID-19. Visión y Campesino used the RSD gymnasium to bring vaccines to our community. Thank you Visión y Campesino!
